Beeple brought a lot of attention to the ape community with his artwork showcasing our ape-friend @danny_p3d getting KO’d by a giant Meebit swine! Meebits rejoiced over @Beeple’s twitter post.
As expected, the Ape community flooded the comments in opposition, and soon after Beeple turned the tables on Meebits. His subsequent art displayed @danny_p3d’s apes teaming up to exact revenge on the offending Meebit.
Announced by the official BAYC team, there will be a member’s only clubhouse in Sandbox and a unique metaverse ape provided to ape-holders. A 5ETH treasure hunt is in the works, as well as “Mutant Ape Arcade Breeding.”

Out of generosity @BoredApe3449 and @_blindisland took action to give hope to people who were unable to purchase an ape before the floor saw astronomical gains. They created an NFT to enable the community to pool resources together to fund an ape giveaway.
June started with a bang. On the 1st of the month, @BoredApeYC broke through the 1 ETH floor and apes went bananas while other prominent NFT communities watched from the sidelines in awe.
@RichVagner started a discord server for apes who love sports. There are channels for sports including football, basketball, soccer, hockey, baseball, and UFC. Fantasy Football talks are well underway, so feel free to join the discussions!
Senzu Seeds announced a partnership with @onetreeplanted, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the planet. Once the game is live, you can help “reforest the real world and give a new home to animals!”
Prominent cryptopunk influencers such @digitalartchick and @beaniemaxi joined in on the ape madness, securing their place in the community. Apes warmly welcomed them with open arms.
@beaniemaxi encourages the BAYC community to submit their apes on the punkscomic.com website. Any apes that own an Issue 1 comic may submit a backstory along with their ape. The Punks Comic team will review all submissions, and feature 8 apes in Issue 2 that make the cut.
The Ape Father @Ape6056 will soon be selling official Ape Mafia membership tokens for apes that are looking for... work. There will be a total of 300 tokens at 0.01 ETH each, artwork by @NBATopShotEast and @Ape6056. In addition, there will be a 0.8 ETH giveaway!
Also related, The Cheetah Gang and Ape Mafia have officially formed a long-anticipated alliance. Cheetah Gang founder, @codyboston19 urges all Cheetahs to list their apes at the price of 420.69 in a move that will set the Cheetah floor higher than DMT’s if successful.
Right after @Zenft_ launched, 8888 bonsai trees were rapidly minted and sold out in under an hour. Apes accounted for a huge number of buyers, so there is no doubt these trees will be everywhere the apes are in the Metaverse.
Lamelo Ball set discord on fire after making an entrance that surprised many. @MELOD1P joined BAYC sporting his brand new nautical, 3D ape, and spent time chatting with the ape community about BAYC. He also shared his new NFT release.
New Orleans Pelican’s player @Joshhart tweeted out his interest in the @BoredApeYC. Currently he is on the lookout for “an Ape with heart eyes.” Whoever helps Josh find his dream ape will go down in history as a true BAYC hero.
@JAGWAKcrypto announced there will be a “litepaper for badges out soon!” Apes have created a boring book club at the website, https://boredapebookclub.com/. Members are currently working through Pierre Boulle’s classic “Planet of the Apes.”
@richardvagner, his brother @borisvagner, and @Zar0_eth released a bored ape derivative NFT featuring Vagner’s beautiful music, and Zar0’s captivating BAYC art.
@allnick launched “the most comprehensive list of @BoredApeYC members on Twitter.” If you are struggling to find apes on your networking quest, this tool should be a great help.
@bathingBAYC is a new derivative artist bathing BAYC members in some fresh drip. Make sure to check out his works.
